I think a lot of the character of this place has to do with the very members that make it. Yes, it's larger than it was, even from when I joined but if we post in our mostly funny and humorous fashion, a lot of the newer members will follow. The ones that don't won't last long.

Many will have joined as they want to discuss Everton in the style they read on here, so in effect we create the 'mood'.

It was sound when I joined and there's no reason why (transfer frustrations aside) that has to change greatly. Worthy posters will join and remain, the bad eggs will be taken out.

Relax lads, everything will be sound.

Obviously it's not as bad as the Politburo state over there but it also used to be somewhere you could come and post sound, about sound things.

Imagine if you were a new blue to the internet and walked into a few of the ongoing threads now? Meltdowns over players taking a bit to sign and jarg rumours. Public v private sector bells offs. General over reaction and hyperbole to lots of things.

You'd swerve it.

Why not make your own forum then you can have it exactly how you want it.

It could be full of piss taking or "witty rips", ya mar jokes and wind ups.

But still no sensible talk of Everton.

And anyone who posted something you didn't like could be neg repped into oblivion. Cause it would be your forum and you owned it.Unlike this one.

Anyone who didn't want to read piss taking, ya mar jokes and wind ups could disrupt loads of threads in their overbearing style and then moan about other people being responsible for the drop in quality.
