2023/24 Jarrad Branthwaite

Run lad.

Get out of this club as fast as you can.

That manager values Michael Keane ahead of you. Imagine actually thinking that.
Quite honestly, if Branthwaite had been out there and done exactly what Michael Keane did on the goal allowed, there'd be like 20 pages of people on here going off about how he's not ready. This guy's probably gonna be starting for a club in the champions league within a few years after never really being given a chance at Everton.

What was the point of his loan? I thought it's to get experience and return a better player. If the loan is deemed a success then it should give you a better chance of playing vs if you didn't go out on loan.

You can't get much more successful loan spells than he had last season. Barely missed a game in a very decent team. Playing European football.

Comes back to Everton to see two senior centre halves (Coady, Mina) having left the club, one other (Holgate) being rightfully pushed out, and another (Godfrey) rightfully well out of favour.

The only other challenger, Keane, was almost forced out of the team last season by the fans after Dyche persisted with him in spite of loads of costly mistakes. He was replaced with Mina and our results improved.

So HOW does Dyche conclude that Keane is all of a sudden the best choice alongside Tarkowski?

He's an awful manager and it'll be yet another promising youngster we let go.

I wonder if he comes into the team for the league Cup, then he will keep his spot all going well
No. He will come in, keep a clean sheet, head one in off a corner, then be straight back out of the side until Michael Keane has made five mistakes that directly lead to us conceding goals.
