Was that the game Darren Bent scored just before and ran to the touchline to the biggest wankhawk in the history of football to high five pardew who was jumping about fist pumping ? Then Jimmy mac the scorer of great goals stepped up ! I strolled back down priory road with a spring in my step and a smile on my face.

would love to see a video of a goal scored by Adrian Heath. It was 85.6 or 86/7, probably 86/7, can't remember the team, It was in the Glawdys street end. we were destroying a team already and Sheedy collected it on right hand side of box surrounded by defenders then Heath ran from behind him on blind side into area, Sheedy scoops it beautifully over someone's head like a delicate chip from a bunker straight onto heaths toe while he was on the move and Heath volleys it in. Am sure saw grainy video of it. Anyone old enough to remember it and keep it somewhere?

some absolute shouts on here, radzinski and MacFadden were both absolute class, the former I went mad to aged 13, the latter I was distraught at that equaliser and went mad to it as well, one of the first games i ever streamed online i think.

This may not be the best goal ever but if anyone who didn't see him play is wondering just how good Sheedy was then this is how good. There is a part of me still smiling from this. For just this moment and his v sign to the kop he is a legend
