The results of the 2023/24 independent Everton fan survey are now available.
3,281 Everton fans completed the fan survey which ran from the conclusion of Everton’s final fixture of the 2023/24 season, 19/05/2024 – 26/05/2024
GrandOldTeam would like to thank all Everton fans who provided us with a detailed understanding of their views on the key issues at Everton Football Club.
We would also like to thank the Evertonians who helped us prepare, conduct and compile the results of the survey to ensure we gained a thorough reflection of the views of Everton fans.

On average, Evertonians rated Everton’s 2023/24 season as ranking 6.5 out of 10.
Sean Dyche enjoys a 95% approval rating.
Jordan Pickford received 40.1% of the vote for ‘Player of the Season’, followed by Jarrad Branthwaite with 36.90%.
1.6% of fans are ‘happy’ or ‘very happy’ with how Everton is run by the current Everton board – compared with 1% in 2022/23, 4% in 2021/22, 72% in 2020/21, 48.5% in 2019/20 and 70% in 2018/19.
30.3% believe Everton care about their fans opinion with 21.3% believing Everton to listen to their fans. An increase on last year from 9.5% and 4.7% respectively.
94.6% consider themselves to be either quite dissatisfied or very dissatisfied with Everton’s progress under Farhad Moshiri.
95.90% of fans believe Farhad Moshiri could/should improve his communications with supporters.
1.3% of fans answered ‘Yes’ to the question “Is the current Everton Board fit for purpose and doing a good job running Everton?” – an increase from 0.7% last year.
52.10% of fans believe Hummel to be a good kit manufacturer.
77% of fans believe Everton’s ticket prices to be either very good value, or good value for money.
The majority of fans, 58.80% felt ‘Top 10 Finish’ was the most realistic target for the 2024/25 season. 35.40% felt ‘Avoid Relegation’ to be the most realistic target.
All considered, 11.2% of fans are optimistic about Everton’s prospects during the next 5 years. Up from 5% last year.
