I agree...should have gone then giving the new manager plenty of time to work with the squad. This is why I am thinking that it is perhaps too late to change at this stage of the season as not sure who in the world can gets enough points with these players.

19 games left 7 wins and a few draws keeps us up, a new manager bounce against Southampton and West ham and its only five games.
We're not quite at the last chance saloon yet, but any more dithering now and we will be by mid- February.
