Problem is the talented don't want to be back ups in a team regularly fighting relegation.
Lots out there want to play in the PL
TD has been free to negotiate with whoever wants him for the past 6 months, guess what, nobody wants him.
We’ve just signed a player wanting by nobody.
That’s why we are where we are because we think in terms of back-ups

Between now and the end of June, he will see more EFC money, than most on here will earn in the next 12 months.

….and me. Gomes actually came on as sub to good effect on occasion, especially in a more advanced role where his lack of pace isn’t exploited.
Gomes won’t be able to survive high intensity and heavy pressing game. Forget about him, it’ll never work for him under Dyche.

Which game did we (we, not you) lose this season because of Davies coming on as a sub? We lost 8 of 19 PL games he appeared in and 4 of those he played <=20 mins
Hasn’t yet but he’s not good enough. If Brighton can sign quality players for under 5 mill then what is this guy doing in our squad. He’s not good enough and he’s been feeding off that city goal for quite awhile now

Red flags over Dyche and his judgement of players then.
