IMO probably should have only cost 20m but you have to overpay at this point of a season and we're desperate.

Beto is a decent player. Not dominant but still a solid presence. Not without flaws (a bit of an Anichebe first touch for example) but big, mobile, powerful. If he adapts to the speed and physicality of the PL he will be a solid addition. He’s potentially a couple of levels above a Che Adams but there is always a risk when new to PL.
