The longer we are down there, the greater the pressure and usually the worse we play. Seems the weight of not being in an Everton relegation squad is much greater than fighting to survive in a team everyone expects to go down.

If we got 6 points back tomorrow we’d win the next 3 games.

We’ve escaped the bottom 3 twice already this season and won 4 straight games when we were 5 points adrift so we’ve done OK since that point to be outside the bottom 3 now. Have to regroup, hopefully get Doucoure back for the next League game and stay calm at the moment.

To be fair, take all those dodgy decisions back from earlier in the season and they'd be in the top third of the table. Some utter scumbag decisions against them well outside of the rules.

It was coming. You can’t be that weak in ball retention/possession and not be found out eventually.

Even during some of those wins you could see things needed sorting/improving on.

Worst thing is getting beat doesn’t bring any anger anymore.
