We carried on signing players. I know we've spent very little but our ridiculous wage bill is what put us in this position. We needed to sell at least one more player and we wouldn't be in this position. Moshiri's defence that we had no midfield wasn't great either!

To say Everton had a sporting advantage because we spent more than we brought in is a load of plums. We've just tried to make ground and catch up but failed miserably. Man City, Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs have been out spending the rest of the league for decades. This whole thing is to just keep their lovable 6 at the top of the table and not let anyone else dream of breaking in.

In a normal court, we would win this easy or at the very least significantly reduce the penalty. Problem is that this is not a normal court. One of the top qc in this country should have plenty to argue and get us something back.
