Think we should get aLl 10 points back. Although the mitigations were not accepted they were the causes of the overspend & none of them provided a sporting advantage, in fact quite the opposite in the case of Siggy so they should not apply a sporting penalty to a non sporting breach.

The consequences could however be worse if we get a transfer ban instead.

Theres a good chance that they have used the old tactic of going in high knowing we'd appeal and that months of pain, shock and anger at 10 points would be forgotten if an appeal saw it reduced t "x". The settled figure then being the agreed punishment and giving them a metric to work from for other cases. Typical pioneering spirit by the blues and another first.

I think this thread should be locked until the decision is officially made public.

Today alone has seen 30+ pages of everyone going round and round in ever decreasing circles when it is abundantly clear that no decision has been finalised.
None of the top-line journalists have a clue as to what the decision will be… and tomorrow will probably see another 20+ pages of largely nothing posted.

Honestly folks, all this wailing and gnashing of teeth is doing nobody any good.

Yes, we’re all concerned about the eventual outcome and further possible sanction via the second charge but, and I know it’s easy to say this… take some time off from all the guesswork and give your blood pressure a break.

As predicted last night... another 25 pages of wailing and gnashing of teeth... hope y'all enjoyed the mutual misery and group therapy.
