Forrest are delighted with this - they are saying that they are defo staying up if they are only hit with 6 points, prefer to be us then them like.

They best be hit for more if they are over by say 40 mill os double what everton have been over so should reflect in the punishment

Forest must be crapping themselves but at least they can use us as a measuring stick and manage their expectations up to a point. Unfortunately, we still have no idea what a 2nd punishment will look like. Perhaps 42 points will be enough regardless of what the 2nd penalty will bring. They wouldn't, thats why three of the top four finished below us last season and the three that finished in the top six (one of them with 100 points) last season are all below us now.

Don't think so. They reference the EFL and their standards which they feel is adequate to reduce the point deduction to 6.

The EFL have rules to state a club can't be punished for the same issue in the same season. The EPL don't have those rules in place.

Think that works in our favour.

The double jeopardy point is one that gives us a glimmer of hope.

My concern is, once is careless, twice you get more nailed. I also wonder how significant the double jeopardy aspect of this will play.
