So with the negotiation of a new deadline to pay back the £160m loan, does that come with additional charges or penalties?

If it does, surely we or 777 or the tooth fairy can't keep financing us as it goes.

Moshi has surely got to reduce what he(and his backers) wants from Everton. This game of chicken had gone too far.

Why can't some über rich dudes take us over? Or failing that, someone like the guy at Brighton that is competent at running a football club?

Have the mystery buyers lying in wait for the last 7 months sacked it off now then? Seems a little rash after sneaking around for so long. Even MSP got a little dig today from the usual sources.
Anyone would be crazy to agree a deal before they know what division we'll be in. I think it'll become clear whether its just 777 or not after that's confirmed

We don’t know. At the moment it sounds like it was just an extension of deadline (this may incur costs) but it sounds like this is to allow further negotiation of a final deal between the three parties.

This is probably the most difficult of the four conditions for 777 to meet so if a deal can be reached then 777 most likely become owners. In the meantime they have no choice but to keep funding us day to day.

As concerning as 777 are in their wider business, finalising this deal and the takeover would at least a) bring closure and some short term certainty b) wipe out 350m of club debt (to 777 and MSP), bringing some sort of stability and c) enable the actioning of some sort of sporting plan, with the likes of Dransfield and Spors having had 7 months to observe and plan.

None of this is ideal but if a final deal with MSP enables 777 to satisfy the four conditions it at least gets the club running. We saw last night where this rudderless ship is going.

We’ve had an interim board for cracking on a year now lol

And they've done a cracking job of overseeing the 8pt deduction, crippling increase in debt, failure to acknowledge that the takeover is an absolute sham and the existential threat of Everton being no more.

Hope they give themselves a big massive pay rise because boy have they earned it!

This pretty much ensures that the gits are going to buy us doesn't it?

Doesn't look like it, its no different to yesterday. They need to meet Premier League criteria beyond this MSP loan, and haven't actually paid off the MSP loan yet.

This looks to me like a good faith move by MSP, likely due to them not actually needing that debt paid on the day it was due

Hard to see where they get the money from at what is now effectively beyond the 12th hour,
They have had nearly 8 months and failed so far .
But hustlers got to keep hustling .
Meanwhile the supporters of the clubs they already own continue to protest over their poor stewardship.
Sleazy , low life , bunch of con men is what they are.
Desperately hoping they fail to raise the finance and are finally booted ignominiously into touch.
