There's a difference between doing well and being the third best managerial achievement in 60 years though, surely? In that time we've won multiple leagues, fa cups and a European trophy, for example.
Does finishing above Wolves compare?

Not sure i would use the word 'amazing' when we won 1 out of the first 5 PL games of the season and then never won a PL game at all between 17th December and the 6th April.

….the discussion was had in the thread I was asked to open at the time and there was some support for what he achieved in very difficult circumstances. Plenty disagreed. It’s a bit pointless setting it all out again, except I stand by that opinion.

If he becomes our manager, I will run past BMD in the nude. Ain't going to happen.
Eh? Why? He hasn’t day to day managed in club football for almost 15 years, and in his last club job was sacked after a win whilst in 4th because everyone was asleep with boredom.
