I consider myself quite a negative person but I gotta say Davek blows me out of the water. Can’t say I’ve ever seen him post anything positive although I did have him on hidden for a while so perhaps he may have been posting positive stuff then?
I doubt it tho and in some ways I can’t blame him. It’s mostly soul destroying being an Evertonian.
I do, the joyless tube full of gristle! 🤣

Good leadership?
They made a mess of negotiations with the incumbent manager .
Sacked him without a plan .
Have had to frantically scrabble around in desperation to find a suitable replacement only to be forced into appointing a second rate replacement on his reptilian terms .
Good leadership ? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Exceptionally poor , disjointed and chaotic leadership .

Ive got some sympathy for them. If its true regarding dyche comments that he had nothing else to offer what are they supposed to do? Id be more concerned if they just left him in charge.
They only took charge of the club a few weeks ago and have walked into possibly one of the worst managers ive ever seen who even worse looks like he's chucked the towel in.

Wowzers. Well, everyone has their view, I guess.

This all day long. Moyes wouldn't even be in the picture if Dyche had been able to manage his way out of a wet paper bag this season. Not TFG's fault Dyche picked now to have his rather limited managerial gas tank run dry. Lord knows I'm not a fan of Moyes, but he at least has SOME flexibility to his thinking.

Yes I'm sure they would have preferred to have a natural reset in the summer. Dyche forced their hand by throwing in the towel.

What negotiations?
They've acted when they needed to, even if its not the timing they would have wanted. Whether the next manager is Moyes or someone else, they'll have improved us inside of 4 weeks.
Not if it’s Dithering Davey.
That’s an unplanned mess comprising an 30month dead end detour away from any actual progress ( if we survive this season of course)

Good leadership, bad leadership, it doesnt really matter: they are the only ones that truly put their hands in their pockets and baled us out of what looked like certain receivership. FFS reading the amount of entitlement and negativity on here is bewldering and sad. Yes, we all wish this was the 80s...but it is not. Outside of Goodison, the world has changed...EPL clubs are owned by multinational owners with more than one interest...players are commodities and sponsorship deals and TV rights are far more important to owners than fan chat groups. Maybe we wish it wasnt so but it is. So, I couldnt give a toss about the wording or timing of Dyche's firing. Why should they thank him for last year? It wasnt their club and he wasnt their employee. Where are all the messages from the players??? Under Moshiri Dyche new he could what he wanted and say what he wanted. That changed very quickly. Anyway...as they say in the military: "either lead, follow or get the f$ck out the way"
You are missing the point .
Good leadership means planning for any eventualities, they patently didn’t .
Unless they always had Dour Davey in mind , in which case they are not leaders I’d choose to follow.

Give him more money, but don't offer the new manager a 2.5 year deal.

All is forgive , if there's a break in the summer and we can off without a big payoff.

My guess is they expected Dyche to do enough to steer us to safety, based on what he was able to do the previous two seasons, and then go for the reset over the summer when there was time.

Look I wanted Dyche out as soon as possible .
But I imagined it to be planned with a good manager ready to be appointed .
Instead we seem to have The Scots Horrorshow back .
Also ( and it sticks in my craw to defend Dyche ) but the comments lack context . We do not know the circumstances in which he uttered them.
There are two sides to every story and we are currently one curated side .
