Everton January 2025 Transfer Thread

Fulham trying to sign Chukwueze and we’re just going to watch and do nothing?
We aren’t competing with Fulham this season, the job is to be a PL club at the start of 25/26z Moyes has come in and done that job. If Chuckwueze was our future then Chelsea wouldn’t be selling/loaning him to their nearest club.

Any one else miss the days when you could sign a player at any time over the year.. Bring that back.. much better system remember Signing Kevin Campbell on loan in March and he got the job done by May.

not helped by being an incredibly slow day in work today. the lack of action seems relentless!
Not called Dithering Davey for nothing if you recall, having to play Cahill as a false 9 or Fellaini as a CF....

One fit striker...

One LB...

The players are there if you have a competent recruitment team, Thelwell has to go, too many times he has left gaping holes in this squad, seems like every window he fails to address the real issues...

This is why Everton will never be anything than mediocre, we will never win a trophy or qualify for the Champions League in the next 40 years.

Small club mentality!
Don't think we can spend much until the summer,no point bringing a load of crap in isn't that one of the reasons we were in a mess..

Jesus wept. Where were they 5 years ago lad?
If you think we can follow their footsteps whilst this club and our new owners was quite happy to sit with Dyche till the end of the season and now Thelwell...

They are just happy to keep us bobbing along in the PL, we are just another Fulham or Brentford, never qualifying for Europe and never going down.

We won`t go the same way as Villa, absolutely 100% nailed on. Villa have poper competent people at all levels and the owners want to propel them on to be part of the top echelon of this league, our owners get us a loan for this exciting new era for the club..... It`s all crap, Friedkins won`t turn us in to qualifying for Europe in the next 10 years at least..
