What annoys me as much as a lack of signings is all the justifying that goes on and spin from the club and media channels like the echo, I get the financials I also get we don't want to sign players for the sake of it. But the recruitment team had months to identify a player we could attain, we are lucky Moyes has turned us around or we would be desperate for incomings right now. Also this is years we have failed to address pace on the wings, its not hard if you have good scouting and recruiment. We do not. I would not be renewing Thelwell's contract.

Lots of our fans make the excuses too. Was a poor window, and Thelwell needs moving on.

It’s crazy how City can throw around £150 million this window despite facing over 100 charges, while we’re completely hamstrung.

Still, getting at least one signing over the line is better than nothing. Moyes keeps us up with this squad, that’s all that really matters.

Yes so what same story now? Didn’t someone mention Moyes had maybe 30m to spend? Could have wrapped a Wharton and a Roger’s up this window for that. I’m sure there’s a LB and RB somewhere in the world I’m sure we could have found a RW. We’ve known we’ve needed a ST for next season since DCL refused a contract could have potentially found that. How late are we beginning to look for these deals. Obviously had the issue with owners managers but it’s still poor.

£30m wouldn't get either of these two, not even close. Not to mention they wouldn't be available.

It does affect my enjoyment of catching up on each thread, as they all get ruined by the constant baiting & gas lighting and I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels like this. It’s as clear as day, and seems to get ignored.
