Yeh I've always thought that. You discover the big bad, you end the big bad, but then they wrap it up saying they found links to other people, case gets brushed away in a sense, end of show.

When I first finished the show I was straight onto Google "who was the cult? what are they? did other people go to those catacombs? was big bad acting under orders or a bit of a rogue extremist?" etc. Just wanted to know more.

Spot on.

They uncovered a whole network of religious based abusers and murderers, with big bad being the blunt force they used to do their dirty work.

I automatically assumed that series two would be the hunt for the powerful people in religion and the money that was running it all.

Maybe if they ever get the two of them back together, this is where they’ll go with it !

Like you say could do with a book done to flesh it all out more.
 

Started yellowstone, liked the pilot episode...but the last few while entertainng are absolutely ridiculous haha..anyone watched it all, does it improve?
 

Now halfway through From, thought it was a slow starter but getting really good, reminds me of Lost in many ways. 3 seasons available and new one on the way apparently.

My Mrs watches this and every time I look up that blonde lady is on looking miserable with running mascara, drinking a glass of wine being mean to people. Then cut to man on horse.

Is this the premise of the show? Can put it in a spoiler but does she get a nice shower and look happy at any point?

never happy at any point but does get her kit off which makes others happy
