WW3

In the UK it's much easier to avoid but there's still Maccies, Subway, 5 guys (still going in town?).

They also own Walkers through Pepsi-Lays and probably loads of other brands you'd think are still British but are long since part of a package of another package of companies.

All the Proctor and Gamble/Unilever stuff.

They're in everything.
Can you still get Bensons crisps?

Annnd… a 50% tariff on Canadian steel and aluminium…

So, I guess his plan is to tank the American economy, declare a state of emergency and then end democracy with martial law.

Na, tank the economy, lower the interest rates to refinance the countries debt, get him and his chronies to buy up all the cheap stock with cheap money and fire up another bull run.

I see Mr. “Empathy is a weakness” wants us all to stop boycotting his companies and cars because it isn’t fair…
I bought a lightly used Tesla 3 years ago, using the pension lump sum from 30 years work. I'm a petrol head, but I liked the idea of the new tech.

Immediately the electricity prices doubled.

A month later I could've sold it for 5 grand more.

A month after that, Musk dropped the price of the new car to below what I'd paid 2nd hand. Prices plummeted. Way to treat your loyal customers.

Musk's team kept tweaking the cars software causing an update every month or so, most of which changed settings back to stock.

The automation was rubbish. Constant battles eith lights and wipers. Car randomly braking hard on dual carriageways if the car you were going past so much as twitched towards you.

The software seemed to have been written by 12 year old who've never yet actually driven an actual car.

Voice activation was as effective as early 90s tech.

I gave up trying to listen to music or the radio, because it was so hard to find what you want.

YOu'd have to charge it every week, even if you didn't use it.

Then the brand owner came out as a sociopathic nazi.

To my great relief I sold the car this week, for £22,000 LESS than I bought it for 3 years ago.

I hope people boycot Tesla. I hope they tank. I hope a space x rocket crashes on his Tesla plant (during a holiday obvs. - if he allows those). I hope a sniper takes out Micky Musk and the Trumpet. I hope.

Duterte getting dragged to The Hague gives hope for the future regarding the other despots
It also shows up the complete and utter arbitrariness of the current world order. Why Duterte and not Netanyahu, for example? Purely because his daughter fell out with Ferdinand Marcos's son. What a kleptocracy. Duterte richly deserves what's coming to him, but this will be seen as small countries being made examples of and powerful countries being judged by a different standard, i.e., not at all. The Americans were delighted with Putin being charged, and outraged at Netanyahu. Then the next American government just sides with Putin. An utter farce.

100% THIS

UNLESS WE SEE A COMPLETE CHANGE IN THE WORLD ORDER, TODAYS TYRANTS MAY NEVER BE HELD TO ACCOUNT

Sorry for caps. I should look when I type

Yes, the idea is that they want people in the streets to demonstrate, upon which they place bad-faith actors in the demonstrations to turn them violent, then they use the insurrection act, and other "Reichstag Fire Act-type" laws to crack-down on political opposition and the media, and also cancel midterm elections. A distraction-war with Mexico on the basis "drug cartels" will also likely happen.

He’s just tanking the stock market so him and his pals can buy the dip. Then return to some normality and let the share prices ramp up again.

That makes most sense - these are all greedy money men who have more to gain through market manipulation than actually forming a dictatorship.

That’s what I hope anyway, because me pension and investments are taking a beating at the moment.

The only resistance left now is 'to not play the game'.
