Really good seats, will be a million times better viewing than the Pillars and obstructed view of Goodison. Just hope we can get the glory days to return

Yeah, there will be significantly more tickets available for individual matches.

I'm not a season ticket holder, but I'm hoping for the odd hospitality treat, myself.

I wouldn't be so sure on that. As of right now there are ~5000 seats left on the seating plan available for ST purchase. 5000 isn't much more than we currently have available for match-by-match purchase at Goodison. The one good thing is that now ~3000 OMs have got themselves a ST, that's ~3000 less people trying to buy match-by-match.

Based on those numbers, I would hazard a guess that they won't be dropping down the offer to purchase STs any further than the current 5+ OMs.

Well I had an exciting time too. Refreshed season ticket page on the stroke of 10:00…’you’re not eligible yet’ …10:01 email arrives from the club, with a link…that works. Tried for Club View, seemingly available but wouldn’t put the seat in the basket…tried 3 times….they must’ve gone. Went to North Stand, got a great seat I’m really happy with . I’m a senior and the senior rate isn’t available in the North Stand, but hey. Went to pay - I wanted to pay with a debit card I haven’t used before (I have two saved cards) I started to enter the card number…box goes red…’enter a number of a card type we accept’. Fortunately, I had more cards laid out on the table than an effin’ poker final, so I chose another I’ve used before. Started to enter the number…same message! So…selected one of my saved cards, that I hadn’t intended to use…no problem. Email confirmation received within moments. Slaven Bilic - if you’re reading this, we will be near neighbours…I’m block 240, row 42, seat 212. Please introduce yourself at the first home game, it’ll be a pleasure to meet you…same of course to anyone else who is nearby. Anyway, it’s really lovely here in the cardiac unit at Noble’s hospital in the Isle of Man and these wonderful nurses have said I should be ok to go home later when my pulse rate has dropped below 300. COYB!!

Senior rate is available in North Stand, it's £547 instead of the adult price of £730

You can tell I am retired and need to get out more but I just counted the amount of season ticket seats still available and got the count to roughly 5291

I hope the club has got the balance right between rewarding our loyal local fans - the season ticket holders - with certainty and our international or daytrip support who, typically, spend more (for obvious reasons) on their individual visits. The day-trippers are lucrative, so there's money to be made there by the club. If the new stadium is to provide the boost it needs to, we need to be careful with our subsidies and ensure we have a significant match-to-match availability.

Totally agreed , always great to see overseas supporters at Goodison. Was with a load of Norwegians in the lower Bullens in the Martinez era, they were absolutely brilliant and great fun.

What about those season ticket holders since 96 but don't live locally, like me

I can’t seem them going down to 4+ memberships in general but there’s quite a lot in the family enclosure left so I wonder if they’ll be selective with offering to members with child members. I’m not sure how selling family enclosure on a match day basis will work with their current restrictions.
