Sunderland fans look away now, some of them are a bit deluded but Geordies are good people overall. I'm happy to see that they finally got something to celebrate.

Eddie Howe is a gentleman as well look at how he's happy to stay out of the photo and let everyone else claim the glory.

As entitled and kopite-like a portion of their fans can be, on the whole, they are very humorous about it and they’ve had a bit of a crap time if you think back to Mike Ashley which has also made them quite self deprecating.

From my own experiences that caricature is by and large true and that includes the women as well.

The Viz pretty much nailed it with Sid the Sexist and the Bacon family.

I worked in Newcastle city centre and commuted from lime street for about 9 months, their personality is Sainjemspak & hating the mackums, you could be talking about a cancer diagnosis and they would blame them and they hate Darlo folk, very strange.

Oh, don’t get me wrong, that caricature exists but it’s very much a bravado and a social media entity because there is definitely an element of entitledness etc.

It just isn’t as prevalent when you actually spend time with them and have a drink and talk football with them in the same way.

I see loads on my social media from their fan groups which make them come across like kopites, but like I say, it’s social media.

I thought it was pretty small time to be honest, if that was us we would get royally slated by all and sundry.
Love the way Ant & Dec and Shearer gegged in big time on the celebration.

Yeah very predictable this one. Newcastle fans see Liverpool as their big brother, they’ve always sucked up to them and Liverpool fans have always loved patting their heads. Which is why I was perplexed so many of our fans were wanting Newcastle to win it. The reds aren’t arsed because they’re winning the league anyway and the cringey love in between them and their little Geordie pets was always gonna be sickening.

Anything that disrupts the usual suspects winning it is good, whether you think the celebrations are small time or not makes it more sad we have not even come close to winning one, I think it shows how much it means to win a trophy in the age of billionaire backed clubs when plucky Newcastle can topple the mighty reds
