Just to counter the 'he will have better offers elsewhere' shouts whenever a good player is mentioned: there is a finite amount of 'better offers' available, and each club will have their own priorities and their own budget that are unique to them. Take the right wing position for example, people will say the likes of Cherki, Semenyo, and Mbuemo will all 'have better options elsewhere', but these better options may need to prioritise different positions, they may have their own financial issues, and no club is going to buy all three of them at the same time. My point being that it's not impossible that we are one of the 'better offers', and I don't agree that we are unable to compete for these type of players.
