New Everton Stadium

Well they couldn’t have been that good as the stewards didn’t know either. Was trying to find my ST seat and figure out how to get round to it from where I was.

But you are right, even though it’s my first time there I should know where to go even though the people who actually work there couldn’t be expected to know such things.
You said a few occasions, how many seats did you have fam?

But fair enough, getting to my seat was a pain, the first time.

Who even made blocked off rows!

I didn’t buy any food or drink because we were off somewhere after the match, is there any photos of the screens in the ground to see what they were offering and charging for it?

I didn’t stop to look long enough to let it sink in how much a few pints might cost or a meal during a weeknight game when coming straight from work.

I did read somewhere that they won’t let you in the ground with food from outside but surely that’s not right.

They were taking water bottles off people going into the Stadium, im not sure about food.

Well I asked one person who didn’t know and then moved further on in what I thought was the right way and asked someone else who didn’t know. I’d say I got a blank look or a shrug from three stewards in total before I stumbled across it on my own

I dont know if we took many from GP, but my dealings with the G4s stewards has never been fun.

To be fair they are paid peanuts, so you expect monkeys and monkeys we get.

I just find it strange that somebody struggled to find anything, there were HUGE signs all over the place.

I've noted with interest your opinions from yesterday.

I applaud you for going against the grain a bit and saying you weren't convinced about the stadium never mind the transport situation.

If that's how you felt, then that's how you felt. 🤷‍♂️

And I dont have you down as a moaner, so if something is off it probably is.

I'll have to make my own decision when I eventually get a ticket.

Each food stand served different food, not sure if that is going to the norm but I got one of the hot dogs then noticed pies and burgers further round

There didn't seem to be huge amount of food provision in the north lower and corner there but not sure all places are open yet

The Stadium will be great, but currently its just a big shiny building, once its home, thats when we can bond.

I’ve read that it’s going to be £8 a pint and basically about £10 for a small portion of any food that isn’t a pie.

I get that they are trying to make money but given they have been spinning the people’s club line with Moyes coming back, they need to practice that same ethos in the new ground. I don’t think any of us would be annoyed at spending a bit more than a pint would cost in town but let’s not get silly with it

Is it akin to looking over the edge of a cliff like the top of our South Stand?
I was opposite in the North Stand yesterday and the South Stand looked like a huge flat wall with seats and people painted on it.

I think the corners give you the best idea.
