dyche thinks

Rather than out a poll up now, why not go back into the archives and judge the levels of support Moyes had here when he left for United.
People react mate, but it doesn’t mean it becomes their longstanding view when they look back. Over time peoples opinions change, they develop an understanding after examining everything that has happened. You’re entitled to your opinion but it is t necessarily what everyone else thinks.

Just watched the interview with Lineker about Everton, he came across really well.

It was clear he walked into a basket case of a football club.
But I thought that was just noise that he and the players blocked out. So he kept telling us. Doesn't take away from the fact he still had a squad with Pickford, Onana, Idrissa, Tarks, Branths and not a newly promoted team, a team with the over said PL experience. He had a purple patch in December just as we got deducted points then went 4 months without a win that dragged us in again and finally got our next win in April. He was not a good manager and I certainly wouldn't say he saved us but dare say he held us back. He is now telling the world what a great job he did and still blames the players rather than himself for the poor record he had here despite Moyes proving his ineptitude.

Dyche, the fans didn't like you, the players didn't like you. Dyche, you didn't like the fans (especially voicing opinion), you didn't like the players (Patterson, O'brien, Onana) as you constantly blamed them. You are just a poor manager with limited man management and even more limited tactical nous. Moyes has shown you up in just 2 months

Arguments like this are a last desperate throw of the dice.

That interview today: the main things that it revealed was that:

  • Dyche left because the players had signalled they didn't have the confidence to carry on and keep the club safe so Dyche left to allow someone in they could feel confident with
  • That Dyche himself recommended Moyes to takeover to get the season completed and us kept in the PL

The focussing on some lame wilful misrepresentation of his words over the board's reason for being absent is an obvious and pathetic device to deny Dyche the credit he deserves for moving aside and allowing us to survive.

The haters have been handed a dilemma with that interview...an interview in which all those claims by Dyche are there for any player, Moyes or the new owners to deny and make him look stupid...they have to either believe his words or wait for them to be refuted, because they cant gainsay them.

Anyway: it's hysterical that Dyche still lives in your heads. The world's moved on and you lot cant let it go.

He won, and you lost.
Yes he did. Once every 19 games.

Cos 12 years ago has no relevance now.

Shall we find your old comments about Benitez and then compare them to how you fawned over him when he was our manager?

Or?

Not the same thing at all. Benitez was our bitter rivals manager; when he became Everton manager and then left he didn't;t say anything to degrade the club.

How can you not understand that he was repeating the mess as relayed to him by OTHER people at the club when he walked through the door. He was TOLD all this, they weren't HIS accusations.

*sigh*
He could have easily prefixed it with 'I was told' 'I was informed', 'I was led to believe'

he didn't, he said it as if it was a fact. There is no evidence anywhere that it was a fact, it was an accusation that had no substance. A bad accusation that initially put the supporters in a bad light (a deflection).

He' was talking to Gary Lineker on a podcast mate, not giving testimony to the Supreme Court.
