2024/25 David Moyes

He's doing the job everyone wanted Dyche to do, but now it's not good enough. The double standards...
If it wasn't for a few unfortunate and somewhat questionable factors on Wednesday, we would still be unbeaten (bar the FA Cup). Compare that with Dyche.

How anyone is moaning is sincerely beyond me. If Moyes can get a tune out of the current squad, I have high hopes for when he brings in valued additions.

Don't we all, but YOU didn't when Dyche was in charge, you were quite consistent in your view that 17th was enough under Dyche.

Dyche is limited and we needed to get to safety with him. It was good enough for his standard of manager. Moyes could do so much better, but the thing is he is essentially a 💩house of a manager against the so called better teams.

Nah it’s just not true this and this is what’s annoying. We drew away at Arsenal and the forum was absolutely full of people saying our performance was a disgrace. We draw at home and the same people want to make out like it’s an incredible result. For me it’s all about consistency, a draw was a good result then and it’s a good result now. I’m not blinded by whether I like the manager or not.

Thats true. Under dyche we were consistently sh!t.

Dyche last 11 games. 8 points 5 goals
Moyes 11 games 18 points 18 goals. I mean it hardly needs anything else said.

The difference in the Arsenal away game was we never had a single shot. Not one single shot. i hadnt seen Dyche so happy all season. 0-0 without a single effort and he was like the cat that got the cream.
Thats the Everton manager we had.
That was the disgrace.

It blows my mind. We all want more for Everton, but the clever people like Dave tell us we have the worst squad in the league and then turn around and expect us to beat the top 2 teams.

Picked this a little while back, record draws in a 38 game premier league season is 17. m city 93-94, sheff utd 93-94, southampton 94-95.

As it stands, we're on 13 draws, 9 games to go. We could level that record, maybe beat it, it's stood for over 30 years.
14 draws as of today, brighton and arsenal 11 a piece this season. We've 7 games to play. We are now officially uncatchable by southampton. (erm, points deductions not withstanding).
We got 48 points last year, that's another eleven from where we are now, it's doable but I'm not brimming with faith we'll match it.

I mean I suppose if you were that way inclined you could say Dyche’s last 6 games we got 6 points and Moyes’s last 6 games we’ve got 5 points, nothing else needs to be said. But that would make you an idiot wouldn’t it? Much better to just say we have a poor squad which dyche was slightly underachieving with and Moyes is slightly overachieving with. Wouldn’t you agree?

Taking out the bottom 3............ considering we have only lost 1 game in the last six.......only Bournemouth have a worse record.

I am only talking about the last six games because I was looking at the table on bbc Scores & Fixtures

No. I'd say you're talking out of your arse tbh.
