Will we beat last seasons ACTUAL points total

We managed 48 points last season.

With 7 games to go we are currently on 35 points

Forest (a)
City (h)
Chelsea (a)
Ipswich (h)
Fulham (a)
Southampton (h)
Newcastle (a)

With 21 points left to play for, will we hit the 48 points, are you bothered if we do or don't, and if you are bothered and we don't, what would you see as the reasons why?

I'd image we will finish on something like 42-44 points

7 draws =42
Correct

No because we were left on track for 34 points at the midway point at the season. So we would’ve had to display top 4 form for the remaining 19 games to make up the 14 point difference. I think we’ll end on 43.

Don’t think we will. If Moyes gets to 25 points from 19, then we would at least have been on track to if we hadn’t had the previous manager setting up for relegation.

(50 points would have been 10th last season, so Moyes getting half that total in his games would be excellent considering everything I’ve been told about how crap our players are and that they could never finish top half).

We'd earned the same number of points this time last season - we just never felt safe because of the deductions;

We went on a tremendous run last season from April, I can't see us doing that again, no.

We are 5th in points since Moyes took over, I don't think any of us would have even considered turning that down back in January, I don't see us reaching the 48 points won last year and that's a credit to Dyche given the circumstances we were in then, probably the best manager we could have had in an us against the world scenario. I do believe we are in a better position going forward even if we don't match that total, if it's not matched next year then Moyes position will have to be looked at.

It dosent matter if we don't match that total, although it would be nice to finish the season well. We got the 9 points in one week last season, so a really good bit of form and momentum that we badly needed at the time, but the pressures are not the same. The circumstances are completely different now, and its more about seeing out the final home games well and preparing for a big summer. I think we've got a solid 10 or 11 points in us for those final 7 games.

Not a chance. 42

This team have already got their flip flops on. I'd say no to little chance with those fixtures.

Outside chance of around 43 points.
Home to Ipswich home to Southampton I should hope that these players even with their flip flops on wouldn't let Goodison go out, with anything other than wins against 2 of the worst PL teams ever, that would bring us to 41, I could see a few draws in there too that's what we are good at, maybe a little over 43 but wont match last season.
