I like that a lot, they sound like someone and I can’t quite put my
finger on it !

I’m hearing a bit of Killers in there, a bit of Depeche Mode and a bit of Annie Lennox
Yeah. Annie Lennox is a good shout. The dance beat element to this reminds me of what SAW were doing with Bananarama in the late 80s. I think musically they are heavily influenced by 80s synth pop, but their aesthetic more so by The New Romantics. Their live shows are as much performance art as musical and they attract a like audience. I've seen TikTok videos of their shows and you get court jesters, jugglers, people on stilts, and in one there was even fire eater. This is the only proper music video they have out and it pretty much sums up their live shows. I think it's great. I love things that are just a bit different to everything else going on.

I do like this, very retro in imagery, style and sound

Yeah. the M/V gives off a bit of a Frankie vibe. But looking at the 2 videos it just shows how much the music industry has changed. The Frankie video, whilst 40 years old, is both cutting edge and monumental and god knows what the budget was. Haute and Freddie are still unsigned and working on the shoestring that they manage to generate through TikTok and streaming.

The thread about freeways had me thinking about the psychos on the wrong side of the Delaware. Worked for one, for a year. His story about drinking a Guinness at 7 AM in a pub in Ireland was so Jersey.
