Is there anything stopping us from having a trades section? Currently I'm after a plasterer and having a mare getting one to actually turn up. Could we have a section looking for tradesmen or trade guys looking for work/advertising themselves?

To look at the other side of the coin. Needs policing as very easy for fellow members to rip each other off if not careful. You would like to think we are all genuine but there will always be one or two who take advantage.

Problem with trades is they think their specialist skills and outgoings such as tools, vans, insurances etc should be factored into their price.

It's why I just bodge everything myself then pay twice as much for them to fix it

How will it? Likely be local lads and let's face it if someone rips you off they're going to need to as hard faced as the tin man to carry on posting in a private message board.

No, the kit was on top of the washing machine. The smell of ale was a coincidence.
