Ermm*waves a gentle right-handed goodbye and goes back to bed next to @Joey66 *
HMRC Eggsy? Don’t worry, I’ll still love ya......not DHSS, Fella.
Gibson isn’t a risk full stop. He’s a proven PL defender and a good one at that.
Was linked to City and one or two others when Boro were relegated but from what I remember they were asking ridiculous money at the time which is probably why a move didn’t materialise.
15 million is buttons these days and if Burnley pull it off, they’ll have a bargain.
Still only 25, left footed, captain at his club with leadership qualities and an organiser.
People won’t get excited about him though because he’s not a sexy name but I’d be all over that deal at 15 million.
He’s a rock solid dependable centre half.
Being linked with Zouma, don't know if mentioned.

There's room for three in @Joey66 's theraputic waterbed, where of course we are discussing transfers like signing Robles back ok![]()

Irrespective of our business conducted this week, I’m still disappointed with this window. Brands/Silva have been in their positions since beginning of June and while I’m delighted with our signings so far, both young talented players with their best years ahead of them, the thought of starting next week with the thought of a Keane/Jags defensive pairing and scherderlin in midfield is a sobering thought. We have wasted far too much time and interest in Mina, he should have been given an ultimatum at least 2 weeks ago, but equally concerning is the apparent lack of interest in central midfielders. I know people will argue that city, united, spurs have barely bought anyone, but their squads didn’t require the major overhaul our current squad does. Let’s hope there is some serious movement on the transfer front this week.

Always exceptions. But a professional footballer at the top level should be well able to play with both feet. They may favour one but should be comfortable on both.I'll present Arjen Robben as a counter point
