We have conceded 33 goals in the League which is the same as United and one more than Arsenal. Considering we have been unable to field a settled defence then that isn't that bad. The problem has been the lack of goals we have have scored 14 goals less than Arsenal and 12 less than United.

Our biggest problem is our failure to replace Lukaku and I am not sure Silva can be blamed for that. Add in a proven 9 who scored 20+ goals per season and we would look much healthier.
Arsenal’s defense is dreadful! Why is it so many teams are rubbish at defending at the moment? A strong defense is the foundation for success!

I'd consider Moyes back in the summer if things didn't go so well. Lots of weaknesses, but probably better in the role of head coach, and his natural caution around transfers would be eased with Brands (and hopefully Moshiri's funds).

Worked well with younger players, but also improved players and expected standards. Yes we bottled big games. Now we bottle most away games. I'll happily go back to bottling big away games again.
It's a pity the money wasn't around when Moyes was here he deserved a crack at spending big. But I feel now he's reputation has suffered a bit with some jobs he's failed in, but we have failed miserably since he left so perhaps it would be a good fit. I'm running out of ideas for another manager who could do ok here, it's becoming a poison challis.

Oooh now who's angry.

Just showed evidence of other players being at fault but you're still having a go at him and only him. Cause of this sad agenda you have. Wouldn't have this tirade every kin game if he was a Roberto signing.

You cant defend Pickford so you seek to spread the blame about a bit. It's pretty obvious tactics.

Question: do you support us retaining this GK as our number 1?

We've been here before with a manager who wouldn't adapt his tactics to his players, and it didn't end well

That being said, sod these players!

They've completely let Silva down

He carries his share of the blame, but so do they. They are the weakest and most fragile everton squad I can ever remember

They crumble at the slightest hint of adversity. There's only so much he can do with this scurrilous squad of sad sacks
the man united players were doing exactly the same under Mourinho..

once he had gone they have reverted to type and are actually playing boss football and have won a record 8 games in a row

im not saying we would be that good once silva has gone but we would defo be winning a lot more games than sticking with him

Did a very good job last season at West Ham. Signed off by giving Fat Sam another pasting!

Massive and massively failed project for Mr Moshiri thus far. Once this stadium dream finally dies I fully expect him to do one and have Kenwright back pulling the strings.

Spreading the blame around a bit - now there's an idea. Try it sometime and vary up your posts a wee bit.

I want the whole team and management staff in a big skip.

You need to start getting angry with that 'kin GK not me.
We lost 3-2 to a severely depleted Millwall side and only had three shots on target over the course of 90mins and you pin it all on the goalkeeper?! Your personal vendetta againt Pickford is ludicrous at this point. He's made plenty of mistakes lately and has played his part in us being bad but to attempt to pin today's result on him is laughable.
