Giving Silva time is the only way we will know if he’s good enough or not, as long as we are not in any danger then I think we should give him until January at least.

I’m just as unhappy as anyone on here but sacking managers regular will only end up us going down the Sunderland/Villa route.

Who do we get if we do sack him?? Then the new guy comes in and doesn’t fancy Pickford /Mina etc who are on long contracts, where does it all end??? IMO we have more chance of getting relegated than making the CL if we keep doing this.

What rubbish, Silva is proving he isnt up to it, worse record that BFS despite having Mina, Digne, Zouma, Richarlison, Gomes etc. Why take the risk of him leaving in January with us in the bottom 3? Why are we selling this project, we should be saying to any manager `you got to get results from day 1 and continue to get results`. Giving managers time where they feel they can lose as many as they want is not a way forward.

Christ I wonder about the mentality of fans to keep continuously give failing people more time than they deserve, perhaps this is why we are where we are!

Niasse, McCarthy, Besic,Tarashaj and Galloway.

You now get like £12m between them. How many money being flushed down the toilet?

Oh Kone, Robles, Alcaraz, Mori and McGeady? Martinez was absolutely crap at signing players overall.
We broke even with Martinez's signings. How many down the years have done that?

Got the point of being NEA.

He stays, meh
He goes, meh

The clubs a mess, we’ve dropped off a cliff in the space of 5 years whilst adding almost unsustainable amounts of operating costs

The club is rotten to the core. We are no better than Southampton or West Ham

Chris the thing is some people pretend it’s the players’ faults. Would you keep Silva as manager next season after this abysmal season?

Your blind faith will expire soon. I will remind you what you said today when he is sacked.

lol at you. Silva is the coach and he is employed by the club to change things. And now a keyboard warrior asked another keyboard warrior what can Silva do with these players!?

Well, yes. It's pretty obvious to me that if you disagree with someones viewpoint on the manager then the very least you should do is highlight what mistakes he's making and show what he should be doing differently.

Surely thats just common sense?

Back? Can't remember when we weren't.

1 game he tried something else. Then reverted to type.

I hate stubbornness. Or arrogance. Call it what you like. This manager is on a vanity project. Let's hope he isn't here next season. Or we will just slip further and further down the table.

Every time we lose a home game there should be an inquest. Instead we get Silva insisting we will do the same things and improve "in our moment". Whatever the heck that means. I hope that "in our moment" after game 38 we will sack the monotone rambler and allow him to take his rigid and inflexible tactics back to the continent.

This is why I want him gone now. My concern is that he flukes a few results in the run-in and he gets another season as a result.

I'd see anything he does now as papering over some very large cracks. If he's here next season, we just waste another year.

For me, there's nothing he can do now to save his job.
If we just keep going round in circles though with no stability there is a risk you end up like Aston villa in the championship.

Would you sack him now and allow the new man to get a good look at what he is working with or give him till the summer when the club could be toxic allowing any new man just friendlies to see his new players in action?

See little point in sacking now. Our season is over. Line someone up and get them in for next season. If a manager needs to see a lot of these frauds more before making his mind up then they shouldn't be our manager.

There's nothing to fear in keeping changing till we get it right. We have nothing to lose. Stability is overrated. If it isn't working then change it.

It's called intransigence.

It is very disheartening when the Everton Twitter graphic comes up with 2 holding mids, Gylfi in this mythical 10 position, Coleman smiling at right-back.

Didn't he have 3 players in the first 11 that WEREN'T already here? And on the bench just Bernard?

This is not yet his team. And the team he inherited was agreed by all to be not good enough.
