Didn't he have 3 players in the first 11 that WEREN'T already here? And on the bench just Bernard?

This is not yet his team. And the team he inherited was agreed by all to be not good enough.

This. He simply needs time, he’s not getting sacked so just back him and ride it out and we hopefully build in the summer and then go from there

See little point in sacking now. Our season is over. Line someone up and get them in for next season. If a manager needs to see a lot of these frauds more before making his mind up then they shouldn't be our manager.

There's nothing to fear in keeping changing till we get it right. We have nothing to lose. Stability is overrated. If it isn't working then change it.

That`s my view, but I`d get rid now, get new man in and bedded in before next season. As you said, nothing to lose and the season is over.

Well, yes. It's pretty obvious to me that if you disagree with someones viewpoint on the manager then the very least you should do is highlight what mistakes he's making and show what he should be doing differently.

Surely thats just common sense?

He is too stubborn to change. 8 months in and we are conceding for fun and the results have been atrocious.

Being said that, you’re always welcome to join the plotters whenever you feel there’s no going back.

He is under achieving with this team, Imagine the players he would need to sign to be able to break the top 6? I want a manager who can get the best out of players meaning we wont need to sign superstars to break the top 6....

He shouldn't have played 4-2-3-1
So you concede in terms of personnel, we have absolutely nothing to play with in the centre of the park?

I don't ridicule or criticise you for thinking a change in formation may work. You may be right. But we have absolutely nothing in the centre of the pitch or at ST.

You've got Gomes as far away from the goal as possible and Gylfi pinned as high as possible, under the manager's instructions. We therefore have nothing between the two and people wonder why we have no creativity.

I'm confused at what you think I'm complaining about.

Zonal marking or not,we find defending hard to defend full stop and have done for years and years, most of the time we got lucky in not conceding,so silva or whoever is the boss seems to have no effect on how these defenders and co defend

2 things on this

1 It,s not about time - it,s about capability.
2 if the club got it wrong again why should the fans reward failure with there support.

Can anyone explain what would be wrong with a 442?

Wingers doing erm winger stuff. Fullbacks doing full back stuff. Gomes and Davies in the middle, one stays and one goes, Richarlison and Tosun up front. Have Lookman and Bernard switching flank and have Walcott on the golf course with his jumper tied around his neck.

Is that too simple in this age of over complicating the simple game?

How do you build anything with that outlook? If everytime the season is over, you collapse the project and start again then your advocating a new manager every year.

We are Everton. Those above us in the top 6 have spent much more for years so are in the position of strength.

It's madness to just keep saying start again is the right answer.
