I think the club are probably shocked at how severe this injury has been, dare I say it- it could threaten his career. Hence the radio silence.
I don't think we will see him till next season, but the less that is said, the more worrying it becomes.

Yea but they didn't leave it a few months to decide on the need for an operation for Gomes.

Maybe the club needs to rethink who it has on its medical staff and start looking for them here instead !

Let us face it. None of us has a clue what the medical situation is with Gbamin, nor with Gomes. Leave it to the medical exeprts .

No it was a broken leg
The clubs medical staff misdiagnosed it as a broken wrist
It never properly healed hence his inability to trap a football or run properly
Tragic really
He could have been our Augerooooooooooooo

Call me old fashioned but I like to wait for a player to return from injury and play a few games before I form an opinion on him.

I also accept that sometimes players get injured and that injuries are not black and white meaning return dates and procedures can change. I also use this thinking to prevent myself from believing a players career must be over just because he’s still injured.

CRAZY thinking I know, I don’t know how I survive!
