How many games are left to be telivsed this season by bt/sky?! Cant we just add them to their total for next season for free?! Sky/bt happy. No unwanted deaths because of football restart. Promote the top 2 from championship, make it a 22 team league next season. Finish the season on ppg but no relegation. The parachute payments the relegated clubs where ment to get, split it between the football league.
Think I read earlier that 47 of the 92 remaining games were scheduled for Sky/BT. Seemed high to me but then again even more games are on tv towards the back end of the season

Edit: Yeah 47

So the government says they will only make very minor changes from Monday to the lockdown. I wonder how on earth the Football Association is going to convince fans that it's fine for thousands of footballers and staff to start gathering immediately, as that is what it will take to get the season over by end of June.

A return to training within a week of any announcement (many footballers are out of the country), three weeks of full training before the first fixture (that's been generally accepted) .. that makes it a very minimum of second week of June before a ball is kicked, and many players' contracts run out three weeks later.

Are they really going to cram 7 games into 3 weeks and risk illness and injury just to finish the season? Well, we know the answer unfortunately..

If they announce the PL is back then thats it I am gonna drive a bus load of us to the beach with bags of cans and have a massive Barbecue

It's gonna be the same story as it was before the forced break, the virus hasn't gone away so not sure what the people running football are expecting to happen...
They are going to play games long enough for Liverpool to mathematically become champions and then cancel the season.

Project restarts final act of desperation suggestion to finish the season.
