Well Iwobi actually started the season well and Gordon has done nothing but make a few decent runs against Utd which came to nothing.

It's not like Benitez is the first manager to put up with displays like Rondon gave us for 90 minutes instead of making a change to bring on some of the youth, perhaps the reality is the youth players are just really rubbish. Doesn't make a great advertisement for signing future youth though

He got it wrong today. The performance and tactics were not good enough. Hes just not that good a manager. Schooled by Moyes who was here for a 1 nil on a set piece.

Benitez is a man of high standards - a few take ons against a poor Utd defence isn't enough to guarantee him 1st team football.

Now had he scored or bagged an assist against Utd I would be inclined to agree with you but he never like he never does.

He's another one of our many players who don't score and dont assist and have the odd good display followed by the usual anonymous one.

Hardly something to beat the manager with is it? Not the same as OGS benching Ronaldo is it?
