been terrible for best part of 30 years

We've won eff all for decades but under a good manager we weren't terrible we'd a team to support, a team that was greater than its parts whod mix it with the big spenders year after year on a shoe string budget. Players playing out of position qualifying for Europa cups, champions league, cup final and cup runs a team who werent the best but had balls and grit who we could all get behind and didnt humiliate us like today. They know we’re not getting anywhere other than mid table at best under him (especially given the hand he’s been dealt), but they also know that he’ll cop 100% of the blame for failure and take the attention away from them. The appointment was never made for those reasons. That's just ridiculous.

They're just bumblers who promised a Richarlison sale last summer and the proceeds plus more cash from other sales...none of which the useless DoF they hired could pull off.
