Comical reading the stuff here from the celebrants after a 5-2 loss.

Even more funny is that they believe there's any chance of Benitez not being our manager for the next 3 years.

There's no changes coming about in management. None.

8th in the league and the manager has spent less than £2M and been handed an unprecedented injury crisis.
If you're right , and I suppose there's the remote possibility that you may be , and the kopite is still here in 3 years then there will be no fanbase , apart from you and foreverblert 92 or whatever. Enjoy amigo.

If he's for three years it'll mean it's worked out ok.

You want that too....dont you?

Were everton?
And whos everton

been terrible for best part of 30 years
We've won eff all for decades but under a good manager we weren't terrible we'd a team to support, a team that was greater than its parts whod mix it with the big spenders year after year on a shoe string budget. Players playing out of position qualifying for Europa cups, champions league, cup final and cup runs a team who werent the best but had balls and grit who we could all get behind and didnt humiliate us like today. Today was a new low.

That's not going to happen though.

Let's assess the ACTUAL situation:

8th with £2M spent and hit by an almighty injury crisis.

Some of the haters might be demanding a change, the board wont budge on Benitez this season. Not a chance. They know he's been hobbled.

Dave, the reason he’s been appointed is because he can be a fall guy for the cowboys running the club. They know we’re not getting anywhere other than mid table at best under him (especially given the hand he’s been dealt), but they also know that he’ll cop 100% of the blame for failure and take the attention away from them. They are utter slimy, despicable, devious toads, and they take us fans for mugs. Don’t allow yourselves to be taken for mugs by these crooks. Know your enemy.

The appointment was never made for those reasons. That's just ridiculous.

They're just bumblers who promised a Richarlison sale last summer and the proceeds plus more cash from other sales...none of which the useless DoF they hired could pull off.

That doesn't matter if you do or dont. It's likely to happen for a few weeks in the next 5/6 weeks until Doucoure and DCL get back in the team and we have a bench that looks halfway strong enough for the PL.
How does either player affect our set piece defending?
