Fairly or not the fans are on this guy every single loss

Inter fabs got over thier hatred of Conte but only because he was succesful

Benitez has a borderline impossible job winning a lot of the fans over

Do you think the fans will put up with us conceding possession to almost every team for the next 3 years with an ex Liverpool manager in charge! Not a chance mate
This is a really good point. The RS factor changes a lot of the norms. But I guess he knew that when he took on the job

Plenty have.

I don't understand why people are getting upset about there being different opinions about Benitez in the Benitez thread.

Eh?
I'm not upset about different opinions about benitez, that's fine, it's the refusal to apportion any blame to him. But half the arguments are that it's keanes fault for whatever mistake he made, or injuries etc. Yeah, that's part of it, and go in the keane thread and he will be getting slated for a mistake etc. If I came in to this thread and said it was all keanes fault that we lost and blaming him for making a mistake, would I not be expected to take that to his own thread instead?

Tactics and subs are on benitez though, and his perseverance with rondon who he knows is unfit and he insisted on signing. Rondon playing awfully is not his fault, but he wanted him knowing already so that is on him. Yeah, the bench is weak and that's not his fault, but he has to find solutions within that which he didn't do and didn't alter the gameplay despite it being fairly obvious to pretty much everyone that we needed an extra body in midfield.

So if we get beat, it's not the managers fault because he would have got it right, but the players have got it wrong?
If players who we should be able to depend on like Lucas and Godfrey cant play like a Premier League professional that isnt the fault of the manager when he has no squad options to leave them out, he can only do so much but once they go on the pitch they have to take responsibility for there own actions

Might as well have given the job to Tina then who works on the checkouts at the local supermarket.

Could have saved ourselves about 9m a year seems as it doesn't matter who gets sent out as it wouldn't be her fault if we got tonked as the players aren't professional enough. Don't know why we need a professional manager then.

You think Tina could of turned the Southampton game around, or won at Brighton, got a draw at Old Trafford, really? Rafael has shown give him the tools and he can build something, right now he hasnt got them

So you are saying he had the tools against Man United? The only differences from watford being we had our captain back in place of mina and we had doucoure as well.

But then, mina didn't play vs saints or Brighton but Coleman did, so which is more important?

So losing doucoure means we get battered by Watford? Even though we also had richie back. If you don't think he had the tools to beat Watford even without doucoure, then there's something amiss.
