While i agree that the name does carry favour, I dont see how win percentage gives Lampard an edge when he basically got a silver spoon. Rooney hasn't had anything yet is still getting performances.

I think that holds more weight especially with our predicament. Lampard basically had it easy and still didn't get what they set out to, there's no indication of a fight when needed in him..

He’s won 30% of his games this season in the Championship.

No they didn't they only lost one of his first eleven games up until the break for the first lockdown and they won the FA Cup at the end of the season I think we'd all bite your hand off for that now.

Not really. If Martinez really wants the job and the Belgian FA don't give permission to speak to him formally, then his option is to resign. If we haven't been given permission then the ball is not in our court and we should move on immediately.

The idea he can combine both jobs is ridiculous. This isn't football manager.
