Even half fit he's better than what we'd get restructuring the team without him in it.

He's a worry for defendersNot deserving of a starting place at this point
That's the thing, he gives them something to think about, which can free other playersHe's a worry for defenders
I really question this attitude. First of all, he needs game-time to get properly fit. Secondly, he bossed it as a target man, playing with his back to the goal. Really bossed it.Not deserving of a starting place at this point
Rusty as hell but expected. Another few weeks training and getting some minutes on the pitch will help him out but it shows that we really need 2 quality strikers at least as the dependency on 1 player shoots us in the foot
He did his job well. Game would have been much harder without him.Not deserving of a starting place at this point
Don't you know? And who scored the goals today. ??
I noticed that too, ball into his feet and emphasis on good shielding and laying the ball off. He couldn't have done that 5 years ago.. Thats something been worked on the training pitch. He will get better with that and we have plenty of pace to play off this shield. Drogba was a master at it.Thought it was interesting how often he was pinning their centre backs today as we were building attacks.
Don't recall him using his strength in that way too often before. Was similar to how Lukaku play, and if you get the likes of Richarlison, Gordon, Gray, Dele running off him it should be a really useful tool for us
