The word "thug" is being thrown around a bit in the last few posts. Calling Vieira a "thug" and the palace team "thugs" is a bit rum like. Bit dog whistle if you ask me using that term about a large black man and his team which is comprised of a majority of young black men.
I think most people would have reacted the same way PV did there. Especially as over the past few days you have seen players being seriously assaulted by fans on the pitch in other games. That would have been in his mind.
