I'll post this again shall I.

Stop talking about McNeil FFS!

Pogba is also in that list and he got 1 goal and 9 assists in 20 PL appearances.

He may have an awful attitude but he’s far from ineffective. He would vastly improve the majority of sides in the league.

McNeil: ok 50+ shots without scoring is bad but there can be reasons for this such as…

The keeper making a great save.
The shot hitting the post/bar.
Having to take shots from long distance. because your team plays so deep and attacking opportunities are rare.
Having to take shots from wide positions because you play as a winger.
Only taking shots when there are no other options because your main role is to create.

I like stats and for that reason I wouldn’t be going for McNeil, especially for the price listed in the media stories.

Stats don’t always tell the full story though.

If there is one club in world football that DOESN'T need money and doesn't care about FFP it's PSG. If there are TWO clubs in world football that don't need money and don't care about FFP? it's PSG and City.

For me, we don't need this major surgery in the XI.

Tarkowski will help the defense.

Adding a genuine quality like Zinchenko to the midfield will be a blessing.

Finding a defensive midfielder and right winger would be perfect.

The absolute most important person for us to sign this season is a dead ball specialist. Our corners, set pieces and free kicks are woeful and probably alone cost us 10 points last season.

Take Ward-Prowse out of Southampton or Eriksen away from Brentford last season and they go down. It is that Important..

Can anyone even name me the set piece takers for Watford, Norwich and Burnley? Rubbish all of them whoever they are!

And we don't just need one - after losing Gylfi, James, Bernard and Digne, we need some depth.
