Its almost as if the club have a better picture of our finances than the doom mongers on social media.

Who would have thought it !!
I mean, the club didn't seem to have a grip on our finances for the last few years until now either.

Its not just social media though, it's the actual journalists and articles they are publishing.

They painted the club in such a bad light last season and did their utmost to get us points deducted. Yet that narrative is changing.

Narrative seems to be shifting about our financial position. Reading a lot more positive spin articles about our spending and position etc.
Thats because they didnt have a clue, and then when the team started spending it was obviously a lie the team couldnt spend or had to sell Richy under last years finances to cover FFP etc. Now that we have spent a suspiciously similar amount to how much we got for Richy, it has become obvious to even them.

Broja is 100% a late in the window move, would love to hang on for him but we can't really afford to

Flip side, if we don't wait, probably end up with someone awful like Batushayi
We need to see if we can do a deal for a wide forward and see if we can then hold on for a loan with an option/obligation or a deferred payment job (like Livramento to Saints) for Broja late in the window. Broja would be great because you can play him through the middle, wide left or in a 2. But we can't put all our eggs in that basket.

Would rather hang on in there and see what happens towards the end of the window.

We are proper desperate, but someone like Batshuayi or another player we could bring in tomorrow isn’t going to offer much more than what we had against Chelsea.

If we’ve still got nothing on the last day then by all means, bring some crap backup option in.

What does it say? Behind a pay wall.

I still think Broja will be our wide left option to replace Richy but like Richy will play up top when DCL is oot injured.
