Yes mate, it's very normal to use no instead of not. Even more so by putting the word "gannae" after it.

eg: It's no gannae rain is it?

I started gaming in '97 I think, aged 4-5ish. Had a PS1, then a game boy. But I've always been a fan of older games too and have played a lot retrospectively. Pokemon though was the game of my childhood! For years those games absorbed me and my mates.
