  • I meant gritty like a Glasgow detective, but attractive to women like one from the Wirral or somewhere else equally glamouress
Can't hide from me, mate. I'd make an excellent detective. I'd be like Taggart, but better looking and more attractive to birds.
Mutz, I mean Azz, has deleted his visitor messages. People like you giving the game away publicly. Think, lad.
Sorry, last link was wrong. There you go:

It's deathly quiet there. I think KenRIGHT was taught a valuable lesson last year about mouthing off. Moyes as well was spouting [Poor language removed] all summer. Could just be that they've decided to keep it shut unless they have something to say.

It says we've signed Richards on the fishy thing

    A mistake obviously
Aye, the kids come first, lid.

WTF on that M'Bia. What a ****, mate. It's funny, mind you. :)
He just means running the club, or maintaining the club. he's also claiming it costs £1m a year to keep GP fit for purpose, which isn't that much to be honest.

I don't think anyone is pocketing cash, lid. It's just nobody invests anything at the moment. We're treading water.
Ok lad. Ask Dave, though, he knows a thing or two about the financial aspects of the club. He's a good lid is Davek.
I don't know, mate. Wages take about 65 or 70%. Then we service the debt. We pay for upkeep of Goodison. We pish money up the wall trying to move to Kirkby.

Davek usually has a handle on the finances.

    Bill doesn't take a salary ...
But the money will make a difference, mate. It has to really. I would bet that even 95% of Evertonians would leave the club for that kind of wedge. And Joleon isn't even an Everton, lid. And like you say, City have the money to do stuff. Give it a couple of seasons, and you would have to fancy they'll be up there in the CL. Will Everton? Really, it looks unlikely. We're one average or bad season away from returning to mediocrity. All the players know that. We have to rely that Moyes can get it right on a limited budget. That's not what City can offer is it?
We can't be pished if he wants to leave because he'll double his salary. The vast majority of us would want out for an extra £40k a week. But I like to think that Joleon would do right by the club, and not make into one of those things in which Moyes' hand is forced. Who knows?

Maybe he does want to stay, I just don't see why considering what he's being offered. It's a chance in a lifetime really. Plus, the rumour is that he'll get a signing on fee. Add it all up, mate: An extra £2.1m a year in wages and (say) £2m for signing would equal £10m over 4 years. That's a lot of money to turn down. It would take some commitment to Everton for Joleon to tell them feck off.
