  • Off to bedland, lid. Needless to say, I won't be losing sleep over the pending £5m transfer of young Joleon.

Sleep well, lerd. Will catch up tomorrow, when I'll be in a foul temper, deprived of wine and stuff like that.
you lose one fan, you gain another. You're Mr Charisma, lerd. It's always gonna happen. people want to be you. You're like Barack Obama, only gayer.
lol. Lid, you and I are good at the insults. Obviously I'm better than you, seeing as your drug addled brain is always playing catch-up with me.
Shut it, lid. My local team was Everton. On the other hand, yours is Tranmere. You only started supporting Everton during the mid-80s, when we actually won a few matches. You're a glory hunter you are. lerd. A disgrace.
Punish me pot-boy. I deserve it. My veins are pointing Wigan way. I want the rattle, the scarf and the skag. I'm a bad egg, lerd.
I see pro's and con's when I look at the possibility of us signing Michael James Owen.

The pro's are he scores goals and he always will do, there's no disputing that.

The con's are the wages and his injuries. We all know about his injuries and I don't fancy paying big wages to someone who isn't as good as (in my OPINION) Saha and Yakubu. If he was a star then fair enough but that's no how I rate Michael James Owen.

The last con is our system, I don't think he has the skillset or physique to play the lone striker role in a 4-5-1/4-4-1-1. I think we'd have trouble fitting him into that and I honestly believe we'll use it for the majority of the season, maybe all of it.

But, to be honest, as has been said, the more options the better.

In other words, if he was willing to drop his wages I'd have no problem with the signing. He's a gamble (injuries) but he's definitely capable of scoring goals and on a free it's worth a gamble.
Lad, it would take at least an eigth of the old coca-cola before I'd let him go. That, or an an oz of the whiz. i ain't cheap like you!
Me personally, i dont the like the man and never have. He is way way past his best as well and i fear like last yr when i commented on Saha that he will keep Baz company more than he is on the field. You happy to have him?
