  • Moyes is being an arse. He's messing with our future because he's got grudge with Hughes and Joleon.

    SACK HIM
Indeed, it's a must. Hopefully we can get a more natural wide player in aswell, maybe David Bentley or someone like that.

I'm not sure about the work permit either, especially as it's only a loan deal. How is that going to convince anyone he's a brilliant player?

The only similar deal I came across was Insua at Liverpool who joined on loan before signing permanantly. He had no caps for Argentina but the difference is he has a Spanish/Italian passport.

Other than that I can't see any similar deals, other than Obinna who was turned down.

I've always been a fan of Mout. I just think you overrate him, I still do. Just like you think I overrate Fernandes. It's all in the game, mate.

Arteta and Fernandes where similar, alot of playmakers are, they take a while to settle down and reach there peak. Unless there like Fabregas and come through at 17 and start bossing games, that's not common though.

He's got alot of talent. Remember, this is the same Valencia who got rid of Fernandes, brought him back and now he's a first choice centre midfielder for them. Banega could easily do the same given a chance. He has had an impressive pre-season by all accounts which is why this deal surprises me.

As a club we are bereft of creativity and genuine technical ability in my opinion, I think the fans will like him.
In terms of style he's close to Arteta, more of a deep lying playmaker but perfectly capable of breaking free and creating further up the field, in the final third. He is a very talented player and in terms of skill set he’s up there with both Arteta and Moutinho in my opinion.

Whether or not he’s suited to English football I don’t know, we’ll have to wait and see on that one. He may take time to settle in and get used to the pace of English football. If the likes of Modric and Pienaar can settle in though I don’t see why Ever Banega can’t.

Wouldn’t surprise me if he starts off outwide, Moyes will work him in slowly I think. Unless he’s brilliant and kicks on straight away, who knows? It’s good to see we are going for players with high technical ability though, it’s a must even if it is a gamble.
