Just wandered if someone could tell me more about Bob Latchford. What kind of a striker was he? Did he win anything with us? I just saw a video of him chatting about the blues and he said despite being a brummie his heart is with Everton. I've heard the name mentioned a lot like, but just...
To think that combined around 140,000 fans pay a fortune to go and watch Spurs and Man Utd at home. Reckon half of them will be supporting different clubs next season
Sounds terrible. Why blow the whole budget. Why not make the signing of a player like that before they make it big rather than try to buy them after their fees have risen substantially. Good scouting is what is required
I'm pretty sure the villa set piece coach has improved them and he was one of the first in that role. Moyes has just hired Adam to give him a job and I doubt he has any experience in the job, whereas I'm pretty sure Villas was an expert.
I would suggest that being more likely to score than your opposition is a good barometer to say you have been the better team. You don't get points for passing it about aimlessly, you get points for scoring goals. So If your the more likely then yes you've been the better team
For me Van Dijk is massively overrated. He's a good centre back, but not a great in my opinion. Seen him make plenty of mistakes. But he's nowhere near the all time prem greats like John Terry, Ferdinand, Sol Campbell, Stam, Carvalho etc. I would have him in the next tier of defenders like...
If you go back to Keanes last 7 starts we only conceded 4 goals. Keane is very much a confidence player and having been out of the team for so long it wasn't ideal putting him in against City of all teams. I'm not making excuses but he is what he is. Keane has done well for us in spells and done...
I think he's still a good player. I would like him to take a few more risks at times in advanced areas. Wasn't on it today but has had plenty of good games and will get better under Moyes
