I know you're not. Not sure about Goat though. My only point was that Lerner's biggest sin is he gave MON and their fans what they wanted. They spent. He has the right now to reign in the spending as you have rightly pointed out, is on the verge of catastrophe. That's the irony. Give the fans what they want and then they turn on you. It amazes me that fans think that these guys don't have the right to run these clubs as a business.
I happen to think Kenwright is a good chariman and Elstone seems to know his stuff. In lieu of a very rich Evertonian (if there was one he would have stepped forward by now) buying the club as a hobby, I'm comfortable with what we have.
