Relegation 23/24 Thread

Luton having 3 games this week before we play again is going to be a deciding factor, it might be 3 too much for them or by the time we go to Dean Court they’ll be 4 ahead of us

How did it get so bad? Look at the state of this squad. That was full strength today more or less - only Gueye injured and Coleman possibly not fully fit. Yet there are seemingly no options that will enable better attacking play, no more clinical strikers, no quicker wingers. It's absolutely heartbreaking to see what's become of us - we were 2nd going into the new year just three years ago under Carlo, now we're on the verge of relegation and insolvency.

The players are appalling. It's that simple. Dyche - who will eventually run out of road - is here to do enough to keep us up. He would likely have done so with some comfort were it not for the deduction(s). That's the limit of it. But when your previous manager was Frank Lampard, that will do for this season. Beyond that? We're fooling ourselves if we think anything is changing while we have no board or a dysfunctional replacement. This club is rotten from the head. Dyche is an afterthought in this, a ship that will pass in the night (hopefully without sinking us).
