Ryan Astley has become the forgotten man in our loan players, he just seems to be sitting on the bench at Dundee, not getting any game time and Dundee are hardly setting the SPL on fire. One loan that doesn’t seem to have worked out yet.

Oh me, I’d forgotten that , cheers . I’ll write about him in the Ex-players thread in future! I had high hopes for him when he appeared for our u23s as a schoolboy and looked very composed , but he failed to grow enough physically. Thanks again for the correction.

Harry Tyrer's Chesterfield can clinch the title tonight with a draw away to Halifax. Great reward for him after missing out on promotion in the play offs last season with Chester. Chesterfield's reserve keeper Ryan Boot has signed a new contract so presumably they are preparing for Harry to move on. He's 22 now so it will be interesting to see what we do with him next. I think his contract expires in June 2025.
