Players out on loan 2023/24

John BCN

Player Valuation: £6m
The lower league season starts next Saturday so it's a good time to start this season's thread to discuss our players that are out on loan.

So far, only 3.

Lewis Warrington - Plymouth Argyle (Championship). Contract expires June 2024.

Stanley Mills - Oxford United (League 1). Contract expires June 2025).

Harry Tyrer - Chesterfield (National League - tier 5). Contract expires June 2025.

Good luck to the lads out on loan making their debuts today.

Harry Tyrer starts, making his National League debut for Chesterfield v’s Dorking.

Stanley Mills is on the bench for Oxford United, hopefully will make his EFL debut v’s Cambridge United.

Lewis Warrington is a substitute for his first Championship game for Plymouth Argyle today v’s Huddersfield Town.

Also spare a thought for Lewis Gibson also making his debut for Plymouth V’s Huddersfield. He’ll be marking Kyle Hudlin, Britain’s tallest footballer who stands at 2.06 meters or 6 ft 9, that’s 5cm taller than Peter Crouch and that Paul fella at Southampton. 🍿🍿🍿

Lewis Warrington didn't get on for Plymouth who made a good start in the Championship beating Huddersfield 3-1.

Stanley Mills came on after 61 minutes for Oxford who were already losing 2-0 v Cambridge. It finished that way.

Harry Tyrer made a winning start for Chesterfield who won 4-3 v Dorking.

Jan-Luk Leban's Farsley won 2-0 at Rushall. Not sure if he was signed in time to play.

Kyle is a very limited footballer. He went to a secondary school that I taught at.

Schumacher doing impressive things with Plymouth on a shoestring budget beat an established championship team with ease for a newly promoted side

…..don’t underestimate the job Neil Dewsnip is doing as DoF. Proper football man who was once a well regarded youth coach at Everton and then the England FA. Would swap him in a heartbeat for Thelwell.

Stanley Mills's Oxford United crashed out of the League Cup losing 5-1 away to Bristol City. He made his first start but was subbed off on 57 minutes with the score at 4-1. Hopefully Oxford are not going to be struggling this season as that doesn't always work out well in terms of loanees getting game time.
